Tournaments
All players registered with Sherwood Park Ball Hockey are welcome to try out for a provincial team - see divisions below.

- Tryout fee: $25
Note: Coach Select Teams - players will be sent a link for TEAM REGISTRATION after vetting process complete and do NOT need to register for tryouts. Players will be notified directly for these teams by April 26.

Youth Provincials 2026:
- Date: June 26 - 29, 2026
- Location: Sherwood Park, AB
- Team Fees: $1300
Provincial Divisions:
- U9 - 2017, 2018, 2019
- U11 - 2015, 2016
- U13 - 2013, 2014
- U15 - 2011, 2012
- U18 - 2008, 2009, 2010
SPBH Provincial Teams in 2026:
1. Individual Player Tryouts - players will be placed on Provincial Teams based on evaluations at tryouts
- Tryout dates - April 28, May 5, 6, 7 @ Millennium Place
- Note: Tournament Coordinator to determine player placement (A or B Teams)
- Ball Hockey Alberta determines Pools for each division at Provincials
2. Coach Select Teams (new this year)
- *Coaches - contact Tournament Coordinator (TC) for approval and next steps
- Coaches responsible to secure players (75%), submit roster to TC
- Coach Select Teams - placed in A Pool
- Rosters - "A" calibre players - TBC (re: as per vetting process)
- Practice dates - Coaches to book and pay through county (contact TC for more info)
*Provincial Coaches: Contact Tournament Coordinator if you are wanting to Coach a Provincial Team
Note: Each team will determine funding sources (i.e. cash call, fundraising, etc.)
