Referees & Scorekeepers
  • Registration - now CLOSED as we have our full quota of officials for the 2026 season
  • Contact Doug (RIC) with any questions or to be added to the waiting list

Registration is MANDATORY for all NEW & RETURNING referees

  • Minimum age: 13 years old (by April 30)
  • Attend all-day referee clinic (must pass exam)

Referee Clinic (mandatory for all officials):

  • Date: April 11, 2026 
  • Time: 9-4 pm
  • Location: Broadmoor Golf Course (classroom session - upstairs)
  • Fee:  $50 (new refs), $10 (returning refs)
  • Includes: classroom & on-floor instruction, exam
  • Lunch: provided (pre-order menu will be sent out prior to clinic)​
  • Note: Rule Books available on-line, Case Books must be purchased at time of registration

Bring the following items to the clinic:

  • Helmet (visor suggested)
  • Finger Whistle (pea whistle is best)
  • Runners & comfortable clothes for on-floor instruction
  • Pen & paper
  • Water bottle
Referee Jerseys:
  • Jerseys can be ordered & paid at time of registration
  • Price: $60 (includes gst)
    • ​Jersey orders will be handed out at the clinic
We have a "zero-tolerance" policy in effect for any abuse towards officials.​
Referees are assigned to games/divisions based on experience, knowledge of the game, etc. 
Park Ball Hockey provides a mentorship program to support our referees, as needed.
